Shane Philip Live in Concert - An evening of rhythm and song writing that will blow you away. The infectious pulse and woops that come from the deep bass of the didgeridoo are both stunning and moving. Carried by the same breath is Shane's powerful voice that cascades and cries out through the lyrical ranges of his thought provoking, emotional and uplifting songs. Unless his hands are busy pelting down djembe grooves or shaking up aslatua rhythms, they’re engaged in strumming and picking his guitar. With a free foot he adds a solid beat that will make you want to get up and dance. He’s a one-man show that moves his audience to their feet in a tribal disco tech swell of strong grooving spirit.

21
Didgeridoo Workshop with Shane Philip - Shane will focus on teaching the basic sounds of the didgeridoo (basic drone, upward and downward pitchbends, various sorts of growling techniques, rhythm techniques, toots, speech articulations, and vocal harmonies) and introduce the concept of circular breathing. You can bring your own didgeridoo or make your own PVC didgeridoo. Cost for the workshop is $25 per person. Call the gallery for more details and material list to build your own didgeridoo.

It’s the music for people of all ages. It weaves chords around crowds and pulls them a little closer together. As The Crow Flies has been featured on shows like The Vinyl Cafe, Richardson's Roundup, BC Almanac, and Uptown Bluegrass, playing to sold out audiences all over BC.
